On account of the innovative mode of action, the mating forces and release forces of the high-pressure coupling are relatively low when coupling and uncoupling in comparison to other coupling systems. Performance sections can thereby still be coupled and uncoupled "by hand“ with little force required, even at extremely high operating pressures and large pipe cross sections, directly on site or over long distances, in an automated manner and operated by remote control.
